Nokia C5-05 Hadir dengan konsep bar touchscreen dengan dimensi 105.8 x 51 x 13.8 mm, ponsel ini terbilang mungil dan pas dalam genggaman. Ditambah lagi dengan bobot yang hanya 93 gr, menjadi ponsel ini dengan mudah ditaruh didalam saku baju.

Mengusung layar seluas 3.2 inci dan menggunakan teknologi resistive touchscreen dan mampu menampilkan hingga  16 juta warna, Nokia C5-05 bukanlah sebuah ponsel yang ideal untuk berselancar di internet. Teknologi layar resistive terkadang membuat menu ogah dieksekusi sehingga harus menggunakan bantuan stylus untuk dapat berinteraksi dengan nyaman terhadap ponsel.

Prosesor yang menggerakkan aplikasi berbasis Symbian v9.4, Series 60 rel.5 berkekuatan 600MHz. Penggunaan prosesor seperti ini banyak dipakai oleh hp Android Lokal yang berharga satu jutaan. Memang bukan yang tercepat, namun clock speed seperti ini sudah cukup dapat diandalkan. Namun sangat disayangkan, sebagai ‘pendamping’ prosesor, RAM 128 yang ditanamkan terbilang sangat kecil sehingga kinerja prosesor cukup terganggu. Efeknya, akan berpengaruh pada performa secara keseluruhan.
